Google junta-se ao Open Compute Project. Just the 'Fight Club' data center!
Google today announced joining the Open Compute Project, initiative led there 5 years by another technology giant, in Facebook.
The Open Compute Project is a project of sharing information about the data center construction and specifically on increasing server density within these structures. In the last years, They were made public technologies and methodologies that saved energy, space and above all helped companies, large and small, to access these infrastructures more economically.
Google had, until today, made your date technology center one strategic and confidential matter, once viewed as a competitive factor of great importance. So much so that on specialty journalism was talk of a true "Fight Club" style Brad Pitt: "First rule of fight club: We do not talk about the fight club ". With this new attitude toward data center technology sharing, Google goes to work with the community so that everyone can benefitting and improve what good are; in true Open Source.
